Martin Rubin

CEO

Martin Rubin is the CEO of Renovate Neighborhoods Inc., a public company listed on the OTC markets. The company specializes in the development of affordable housing and related infrastructure. Its approach is not solely the brick-and-mortar undertaking, but that of creating and implementing financial programs to bring about such housing. Renovate Neighborhoods Inc. operates under the umbrella of social entrepreneurship in its pursuit to bring about its programs.

Mr. Rubin began his journey to his present position in the mid-1960s after attending Baruch College (CUNY) majoring in marketing. It was shortly thereafter as an intern for Alexander Wolf and Company, a major New York City-based real estate company where he marketed and managed residential and commercial properties. Within one year, he rose from intern, to manager, to assistant to the President and eventually Executive Vice President.

From the beginning of the early 1970's, Mr. Rubin formed "MS Rubin & Company" to serve select clients in the New York metropolitan area. The firm specialized in the rehabbing of apartment buildings and converting them into co-ops and/or condominiums until the mid-90's at which time he became a vice president of Ryerson & Hanes, an American stock exchange listed company. At Ryerson, his responsibilities involved managing the company's real estate portfolio, including developing business plans, marketing programs and construction and property management plans for financial institutions REITS and joint ventures.

In 1975, Mr. Rubin acquired the marketing and management divisions of Ryerson & Hanes. As president of this firm he directed the management of 20,000 plus residential housing units and supervised the development of numerous in-fill and scattered site housing programs. During this approximate decade and a half period of time the company forged many joint ventures and served many larger organizations of its type as a supplemental support entity. In the late 1980'5 Mr. Rubin became part of a group chaired by the General Nguyen Lee (ARVN) for the purpose of identifying and effectuating social programs in concert with a myriad of sponsoring organizations both private an NGO'S. It was at this time that Mr. Rubin was introduced to the needs and potential of the acute affordable housing markets in the Caribbean basin and central America.

In support of the development programs Mr. Rubin purchased an equity position in Briar Construction Corp {1999) a general contracting organization founded in 1995. At that time Mr. Rubin assumed the role of supervising all "Field Services". In 2015 Mr. Rubin acquired total ownership of Briar.

Through a series of joint ventures with minority owned development groups in the U.S and "In country" organizations in the specific host countries Mr. Rubin became responsible for the creation of numerous housing and socially redeeming projects. In the mid-90s Mr. Rubin decided to bring a number of the working concepts that were employed in his related offshore projects to the United States. Renovate Neighborhoods Inc. is the embodiment of what has heretofore been a fragmented effort to resolve the affordable housing needs of the United States and most other nations.

Mr. Rubin is also the founder of Project Renewal, a nonprofit organization incorporated in 2001. From that time to present he has served as its president. The primary mission of Project Renewal is that of supporting the rehabilitation and development of affordable housing, working in tandem with Renovate Neighborhoods and Briar Construction Corp.

Mr. Rubin has a long history of building/rehabbing single family, town house, patio homes, multiple dwellings and their related infrastructure for over 3 decades.
